Career profile
Your career, written down once. Every resume after that, in minutes.
A resume is one selection from a career. Your profile is the career: every role, achievement and number, each with its source — and the only thing any of your resumes is ever built from.
Start from what you have
Import your resume. No AI, no cost.
Your existing resume is read into facts by our own parser, the way it reads headings, dates and bullets — so importing never spends an AI action, and any line it could not place is shown to you rather than quietly dropped.
- Every fact remembers where it came from — your resume, or you.
- Numbers are pulled out of each achievement, so a rewrite that turns 70% into 90% is caught.
- Importing the same resume twice changes nothing — facts are matched to the lines they came from.

What it holds
Eight kinds of fact.
Roles
Every job you have held: company, title, dates. The spine everything else hangs from.
Achievements
What you did in each role, with its numbers pulled out — so "cut deploy time 70%" is a figure we can check, not just a phrase.
Skills
With the achievements that prove them. A skill with no evidence is one the profile will ask you about.
Projects
Side projects, open source, freelance work — anything you would put under Projects.
Education
Schools, degrees and dates.
Certifications
Named, with their issuer, so a posting that requires one can find it.
Preferences
What you are looking for: roles, places, remote or not. It sharpens what tailoring prioritises.
Stories
Situation, task, action, result — the longer version of an achievement, kept for when you need it.
Profile health
It tells you what is missing — once.
The profile checks itself and asks for what would make every future resume better. This is its real report on the sample profile from our home page.
Profile health
49/100
- 6 achievements have no number. The ones that do are what a recruiter remembers.
- 5 skills appear only in a list. Where did you use Jira?
- You have been at Tallyhouse a while with nothing new recorded. Anything shipped since?
- Tell us what you are looking for — target roles, locations, remote or not — and tailoring gets much sharper.
Not a grade — a measure of how much the profile knows about you. Answer an item and it improves every resume built afterwards.
Questions
About the career profile.
What is a career profile?
Everything you have done, stored once as individual facts — roles, achievements with their numbers, skills with their evidence — each marked with where it came from. Your resumes are built from it, which is why the second, tenth and fiftieth application take minutes, not evenings.
Do I have to fill it in by hand?
No. Import the resume you already have (PDF, .docx or text) and it is read into facts automatically, without any AI. You confirm what was read, and add anything your old resume left out.
Why does it keep asking me for numbers?
Because a number is the difference between a claim and evidence, and it exists in your head and nowhere else. Answer once and every future resume can use it. If an achievement genuinely has no number, say so and it stops asking.
Can I take my profile with me?
Yes. Export the whole thing as a JSON file whenever you like, or delete your account and everything in it.
