Refunds

In short

Bought a pass and it is not for you? Email us within 7 days and, as long as you have spent no more than 10 AI actions on it, you get all your money back. If we charged you and the pass never worked, you get a refund whatever the numbers say.

What you can refund

AI-Resume sells one thing: a Job Hunt Pass, a single payment that unlocks 200 AI actions a day for 30 or 90 days. There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel — a pass simply ends.

The policy

We will refund a pass in full when both of these are true:

  • you ask within 7 days of the payment; and
  • you have used no more than 10 AI actions since buying it.

The second condition is there for one reason, and we would rather state it than hide it: every AI action costs us real money the moment it runs, and that cost is not refundable to us. The allowance is deliberately generous enough to try the product properly — it is the same as a full day on the free plan — but not enough to tailor a whole set of applications and then ask for the money back.

You can see your own usage in the app at any time, so you never have to guess where you stand.

When we refund regardless

These are our mistakes, and the allowance above does not apply to them:

  • You paid and the pass did not activate. Tell us and we will either activate it or refund you in full — your choice.
  • You were charged twice for the same thing, or bought by accident and have not used the pass.
  • The service was broken for a sustained part of your pass and you could not use what you paid for.

If an AI request fails on our side, we do not spend your quota for it — that is handled automatically and does not need a refund request. Quota is spent once the model has answered, even if you dislike the answer.

What we cannot refund

  • Passes bought more than 7 days ago, or with more than 10 AI actions used.
  • Time left on a pass you no longer want after using it. Passes are not pro-rated, because the cost to us was incurred while you were using it.
  • An account closed for abuse under section 5 of the terms.
  • Dissatisfaction with what the AI wrote, where the service worked as described. The free plan exists so you can judge the quality before you pay — please use it.

Not getting a job is not a ground for a refund. We sell a drafting tool, and no tool can promise an outcome that an employer decides.

How to ask

Email hello@ai-resume.dev from the address on your account with the order reference from your receipt. You do not have to give a reason, though we are always glad of one.

We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method — so it appears on your statement from them, not from us, and typically lands within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. The pass is cancelled at the same time.

Your statutory rights

This policy is in addition to any right you have under consumer law where you live, and nothing here takes those rights away. If you think we have got a decision wrong, reply and say so — a person reads every email.
